The hd2 isnt android it will be running windows mobile 6.5 which wont be updated to windows 7. The hd2 is still a great phone because it has a qualcomm 1ghz snapdragon processor a huge capacitive touch screen. The hd2 is a good phone but many people dont like windows mobile as its more complicated than other operating systems for phones. You can always get the nexus on tmobile which is android, htc, really fast qualcomm 1ghz processor 512mb of ram. its a pretty good phone but i would recommend testing it out first as there has been complaints with the responsiveness of the touch screen. As for the blackberry you'll be much more happy with android sprint also offers android for example the hero which is a bit more similar to the my touch aside from the fact that it has sense user interface which makes it look more edgy. I recommend going out to test the nexus one from t-mobile and see if you like it.:)

Ok, let me just say that the hd2 is a huge (but slim) phone, I mean like really big, not for the average person but if you like watching movies on your mobile and thats your thing then knock yourself out.

Personally though I would choose an HTC over a Blackberry any day. HTCs just feel so well made and worth the money. They are also bringing out some really nice smaller phones like the desire and the legend. These are also android like the hd2 and boast nice big screens. The nexus one is also a very nice phone which has just been released and is probably the one I would go for.

Price wise though the Blackberrys are much cheaper, and at the end of the day after 5 months and the "new phone" novelty (and smell) has worn off the price will be the most important thing.

Choose wisely and research all phones thoroughly.
