    Damn I want the 4g sooo bad but it looks like too much of a risk… Wonder If I should purchase the 3gs

    @jasonsgroovemachine Consumer Reports is notorious for it’s lack of knowledge about technology. When they reviewed 3d tvs they complained that certain 3d tvs wouldn’t work when you viewed them while laying down. Which is true for all 3d technology because it simply doesn’t work like that. Consumer Reports is more or less about the opinions of large groups of average people, not experts. Its like Jonas Brothers fans giving a report on classical music.

    @sorchigo Macs actually do have quite a bit of viruses, the main difference between a Windows platform and a Macintosh platform when it comes ot viruses, is that windows has actual virus protection, macs simply get the virus, and the virus is later removed during a system update. Apple does this secretly, at the expense of the end user to convince non-computer oriented consumers.
    Any software developer knows that beta testing will never bring all problems to light.

    Continued.

    @hitheresunshine And so Microsoft’s intuitive Bug reporting system serves them as the distributor, and consumers who use their products and products designed for the Windows platform. Furthermore, severe crashes which take place in both systems are dealt with quite differently, Macintosh’s system does not allow any debugging at all, and in fact hinders any efforts to fix the OS, Microsoft platforms have always been geared towards letting the user easily fix a problem swiftly and efficiently.

    @sorchigo
    The “blue screen of death” which you refer to is a fine example of this, as a software developer, for both Operating Systems I have dealt with software crashes for Macintosh, and take it from an expert, I would much rather a screen telling me what has gone wrong and a chance to fix the problem, then an entire failure of all OS features and reboot. This often leads to lost drivers for Macintosh. Which isn’t very fun because Macintosh is the worst OS to repair drivers on.

    @rylraven13 Apple products have always been fashion accessories more than anything else, the entire company is based off selling hipster’s low quality merchandise, at exorbitant prices.

    @flarbton less then 10% of xbox 360′s suffered from a hardware failure, 100% of iphone 4s lose all bars when held “incorrectly”.Who’s ever heard of a phone that didn’t work as a phone 100% of the time?

  8. JWY says:

    This report is almost wholly incorrect. Less then 2% of customers have returned the iPhone4 (1/3 the rate the previous model was return rate). The phone works better then the all other phones on the market except in this one way – where it only drops 1 in 100 more calls then the prior model does. All cell phone have reduced perfomance depending on how they are held. A cheap case completely solves this problem and Apple has responded to this problem and offeres the case for free.

    @CommanderKairu i have had the normal Xbox 360 for years… The first time i sent it in was cuz it would scratch the discs (standing up or horizontal) after like a week of playing them.. that took 2 months to get back.. Then the next 3 were due to the Red Ring of Death, those were all faster returns… And the reasons it got the RROD wasn’t cuz it wasn’t ventilated well or any of those things. (im pretty sure each time they sent me a diff refurbished Xbox too)

    Could probably throw a single tea bag into the Pacific Ocean and get a stronger result than this video. Not really sure why you even bothered with it.

    @Southparker100000000
    Like I said, I’m a mac AND a pc user. I don’t fight over which is better. I just benefit from the technological advances made by each company in order to outdo the other.

    IF YOU HOLD IPHONE IN YOUR LEFT HAND WITH A SOAP AND MASTURBATE WITH IT YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE GOOD RECEPTION.

  15. jasonsgroovemachine says:

    @SilkOlive They bought one of the phones, they tested it, found a flaw and reported it. All Apple had to do here was either recall the phone and fix the hardware (cause there’s no way in hell this is a software issue) or say “You know what, there is a problem and we’ll make it right for all of you.” Instead Apple said “The phones are the most amazing thing ever and you’re just doing it wrong.”

    Consumer Reports didn’t find the flaw, but they did reproduce it in testing and reported on it.

  16. stockholmgr8 says:

    My Iphone reception sucks, what a piece of crap! I might go back to my old phone

  17. 3ichard says:

    Just get a phone made by HTC, there phones are awesome.

  18. 3ichard says:

    Me htc desire…

  19. ancoloco says:

    The antenna issue with the Iphone g4 is really a dissapointment. A free cover is not a solution because it fucks up the tight look on the phone, with the free cover that Apple is offering, it looks like the older generation Iphones. I’m not buying it until the problem is resoved within the phone itself.

  20. CommanderKairu says:

    @skinnydiprog3r Wow, you must have been doing some serious gaming to RROD 3 times. I believe they fixed the heat sink after a while though. I sent one in for a RROD, got it back within the month, haven’t had a problem with the next one at all, even after playing it for 8 hours. With the New 250GB one it has vents and a fan, so theres no problem either way. :)

  21. skinnydiprog3r says:

    @CommanderKairu the max it would be played in one session would have to be 4 hours, no more… but usually it is less from the 1 or 2 hour range, so i’m not doing like 5 hours constantly or anything…

  22. TheArfdog says:

    Why isn’t Obama doing anything about this????

  23. TheArfdog says:

    @stockholmgr8 You should return your Iphone so I can get it. We’ve run out.

  24. drumguy2007 says:

    if you just like the features get an ipod touch and then get a different phone that actually works

  25. cdouglas105530 says:

    its not a technical issue its a stupid placement of the antenna issue
